InterAmerican Gaming Announces New Trading Symbol: IAGM
Toronto, Ontario – October 20, 2008 – InterAmerican Gaming, Inc. (OTCBB: IAGM) (“IAG”) has announced its new trading symbol and official name change from Racino Royale, Inc. As of market open today, IAG will be trading under IAGM.
The Company announced last week that to better reflect its new business direction and following all regulatory and board approvals, it would be changing its name from Racino Royale. The change and new symbol became effective today, October 20th. IAG (www.interamericangaming.com) is focused on developing gaming opportunities in Latin America, combining extensive gaming industry experience in the region with specialization in operating in regulated jurisdictions, implementing industry-leading technology, systems and marketing programs.
“Racino Royale was established and so-named to pursue racetrack and casino, or racino-specific opportunities in North America,” said John G. Simmonds, Chairman and CEO of IAG. “As our sights shifted to Latin America and our focus became slot machine and casino-related gaming we determined that we should change the name of the company. This is a strategy we have been working on for some time, and we are very excited about the opportunities we have identified in Latin America. Most recently, in April, we were appointed a license for the importation and commercialization of slot machines and we are currently rolling out the distribution plan.”
